Hi, I’m Daphne!

My love for photography began at an early age. Growing up, my father always had a camera handy; ready to capture photos of me and my siblings. I was fascinated with the camera and enjoyed taking photos of everything and anything. That and a high school photography course affirmed my love and I haven’t put down a camera since.

But it wasn't until I became a mother that my love for photography truly blossomed into something more. As a mom of two, I was struck by how quickly time was passing and how fast my little ones were growing up. I wanted to capture every moment, every milestone, every smile and tear.

Now, as a family and newborn photographer, I'm able to do just that for other families. I understand the importance of preserving these memories, and I strive to create a stress-free and enjoyable experience for my clients.

Life is beautiful and chaotic, and my hope is to freeze those fleeting moments in time so you can look back and cherish them for years to come. Let's work together to capture a little snippet of your family's story - one photo at a time. ♡

A little about me: I’m a military wife and mom to two spirited kids (ages 6 and 9) and one lovable, goofy golden doodle.

I’m happiest when I’m travelling (with or without the family 😉) — whether it’s a beach escape, exploring a new city, or heading to the mountains. I love music, movies, and getting hooked on a good TV series (The Bear, Shrinking, Only Murders in the Building and reality shows like Love Island and Love Is Blind). My son once asked, “Why do you only like shows with ‘Love’ in the title?” — fair question, honestly!

And food… well, food is definitely my love language — sushi, pasta, seafood, cookies, ice cream… I don’t discriminate.

We moved from Toronto to Ottawa in 2018. While I’ll never love the long winters, I’ve learned to make the most of them — snowboarding, skating, and slowly becoming the skiing family I’ve always envisioned. Once summer hits, you’ll find us swimming, hitting the beach, or out on our boat soaking up the sunshine.

And if there’s chocolate milk or a glass of wine involved, even better.
