Hi, I’m Daphne!

My love for photography began at an early age. Growing up, my father always had a camera handy; ready to capture photos of me and my siblings. I was fascinated with the camera and enjoyed taking photos of everything and anything. That and a high school photography course affirmed my love and I haven’t put down a camera since.

But it wasn't until I became a mother that my love for photography truly blossomed into something more. As a mom of two, I was struck by how quickly time was passing and how fast my little ones were growing up. I wanted to capture every moment, every milestone, every smile and tear.

Now, as a family and newborn photographer, I'm able to do just that for other families. I understand the importance of preserving these memories, and I strive to create a stress-free and enjoyable experience for my clients.

Life is beautiful and chaotic, and my hope is to freeze those fleeting moments in time so you can look back and cherish them for years to come. Let's work together to capture a little snippet of your family's story - one photo at a time. ♡

A little about me: I’m a military wife and mother to two wild kids ages 4 and 7 and a loveable, goofy golden doodle.

I love travelling, music and spending time with family and friends.  I enjoy watching movies and binging a good TV series, devouring ice cream, cookies, sushi, pasta, seafood…ok food in general (I’m a foodie). I love a good drink in hand, whether it be wine, a cocktail or even chocolate milk :)

We moved to Ottawa from Toronto in 2018. While the cold winters here might not be everyone's cup of tea (including me), I enjoy hitting the slopes on my snowboard and we’re slowly working towards becoming a skiing family! And when the weather warms up, you can find us exploring the great outdoors, hiking new trails and even taking our canoe out for a spin on the rivers and lakes. Plus, I always love a good beach day in the summer.
